This website is an initiative of the ADM Student Club. For the uninitiated, ADM is the School of Art, Design and Media of Nanyang Technological University, located in western part of the ever scorching island of Singapore. The Portal More than 3 years after ADM start its first classes, there has been no school publication. This website is a cost effective way of publishing news and important information. Photos and videos of ADM events all over facebook and youtube are messy and we hope this is one place you can find them all. If you're wondering what's up with that weird shape in green on the top right right beside the huge letters adm.sg, try searching for our school on google maps and you'll see what it means. We're still testing out the content management system and the forum system, so if there are any technical issues feel free to post them in the forum. The TeamDavier Yoon – Web administrator / Chief Editor The School We practice different disciplines of art and design, in the form of 6 majors. These are, in no particular order, Visual Communications, Digital Animation, Digital Film, Digital Photography, Product Design and Interactive Media. We are a relatively new school, being tossed into this world about 3 years ago, and we make do with whatever we have. The Student ClubFormed in the birth year of ADM, we the student club aim to better the lives of the students through social events, welfare and selling our school. We have a great sense of belonging to our school, and we like to chase non admers off our lawn with broomsticks whenever we have broomsticks in our hands. The Disclaimer With all that said, please be reminded that this is after all a student portal, and represents in no way the opinions of the management of ADM or NTU. In other words, we do what we want here. If you're a art or design wiz surfing the web and chancing upon this website, and subsequently our works, please do not be appalled if you find it of low quality. I feel bad saying this, but come on, every art school has its fair share of good and bad works. Moreover most of the work here are works in progress being crtitiqued on and constantly improving. Cut us some slack yeah? Now go, go and explore the crap out of this site. |
